1971 Chevrolet C20

Growing up I have always wanted an action style chevy, and tried many times to buy our family friend’s 1970 GMC farm truck that he had since high school, but he was always reluctant to sell. Though it wasn’t the exact truck, I finally saved up enough to buy a very similar 1971 C20 farm truck with all natural patina. I’m not sure exactly how long it had been sitting in the field as there was no record of the last time it was registered, but my guess would be at least 20 years. The coolest part is the truck remained almost completely original and numbers matching. I was able to get the original motor to run, I had original th400 rebuilt, went through the engine, and replaced all the suspension , steering, brakes, and other wear parts, but kept everything as original as possible. The exterior looks about the same as the day it left the farm, but the truck runs and drives so well now.

1966 Pontiac Catalina Wagon

Was sitting in mass for 20 years or more, located on google earth through hearing about it. It's a rare bird. Factory 421 4 speed wagon and it's verified through PHS documents. Not many wagons were a stick with a 421. The owner agreed to sell it to me if I agreed not to sell it because everyone else wanted to buy the car and flip it. I have the original 421 but it was out of the car and seized. I put a 400 in the car to get it running for now. It needs a lot of work but it will get there, it's a blast to drive!



1970 Ford F100

Saw it languishing in the side lot of a repair shop. My coworker knew the truck from when he was a kid and also knew the owner of the show. He said the guy would never sell it so l tried to forget about it and never asked the guy. Fast forward a few years and I see it in the light at a local tow company. The next day I see it outside sitting in all four of its drums. I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't ask and found out it was scrapped. I enquired within and they said yes it was for sale, yes it had a title and they would deliver it anywhere I wanted if I paid the asking price. I got the money to them the next afternoon. They had the truck in my driveway before I had the money in their hand. I am technically the second owner on paper.

This car was the first V8 i've rided. It belonged to a close friend who passed away a few years ago. His daughter inherited the car, but didn't care much about it. So after a really long negotiation, i've could buy it. It has a 292 Yblcok with a C-4 transmission. This one i regret selling!!!

 

1966 Nova Super Sport:

It was my dad’s first car. It was his dream car and was his passion until my brother and I were born. He was the last person to drive it and he was killed in 1980. It has sat in my mother’s garage ever since. It’s been kept cleaned and covered the entire time.

 

1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup

In May of 2025, me and a couple buddies flew out to our friend Derek’s house in Yakima, Washington to grab three Rabbit Pickups to drive back to Ohio. My truck was a rolling shell and was the worst of the three trucks. We got the truck assembled in four days and drove all three trucks 2500 miles back to Ohio in four days without any major issues. Since then I’ve been fixing it up. I’ve taken it to car shows in NJ, PA, GA and NC. This month I swapped in a 2.0l from 1996 Jetta into the truck in my gravel driveway one week before driving it 7 hours to Mk1Madness in Mohnton, PA.

 

 

1959 Land Rover Series II

I graduated high school without a car and finished my STEM degree having limited hands on experience, so I set out on a mission to buy something I could fix up. One day this old truck appeared online with a listing that didn't even know what brand or model it was. I immediately recognized it from my childhood watching old movies like 'the gods must be crazy' and 'the Italian job'. I bought it out of the field it had been sitting in since the 70s, and spent 9 months learning by doing until it could start and stop under its own power.

Hey everyone! About a year ago, I found this Chevelle just a few minutes from my house. I’ve always dreamed of owning a classic muscle car, and now I’m finally bringing that dream to life. When I bought it, the interior was completely worn out, and the engine had definitely seen better days. Over the last year, I’ve been restoring the car piece by piece—replacing the interior, collecting parts, and learning a ton along the way. The current plan is to get the car running and driving, then replace the engine with something that better fits the vision I have for it. It’s been a lot of work, but seeing the progress makes every late night in the garage worth it. My goal has always been to have it ready for my senior year of high school, and if everything goes as planned, I’m hoping to have it running within the next month or two. I can’t wait to hear it fire up for the first time and finally get it back on the road.
